Controversy Over Art Used For Nikki Minaj's Single

The art for Nikki's new single has ruffled the feathers of a lot of people and not of a good way. The image was posted on her instagram account and has since been taken down but people will not stop talking about it. Nikki has tried to explain why it was used but it has not changed the minds of the people that found it offensive. Here is how Nikki responded to the criticism:“What seems to be the issue now? Do you have a problem with me referring to the people Malcolm X was ready to pull his gun out on as Lookin A** Ni***z? Well, I apologize. That was never the official artwork nor is this an official single. This is a conversation. Not a single  “I am in the video shooting at Lookin A** Ni**z and there happened to be an iconic photo of Malcolm X ready to do the same thing for what he believed in!!!! It is in no way to undermine his efforts and legacy. I apologize to the Malcolm X estate if the meaning of the photo was misconstrued. The word “ni**a” causes so much debate in our community while the “ni**a” behavior gets praised and worship. Let’s not. Apologies again to his family. I have nothing but respect an adoration for u. The photo was removed hours ago. Thank you.”

Officer In Chris Brown Case Being Investigated By Internal Affairs!

A female officer that questioned the victim in A Chris brown case has spawned a internal affairs investigation. According to the Associated Press the officer told an acquaintance of Browns that the victim   stated that they were never hit by Brown. This is a very contradicting statement due to the fact that the police report reads totally different. Maybe the officer was a little star struck and wanted to get on Chris's good side. REALLY!

The police chief in the released a statement "We are aware of the discrepancy among witness statements in the Chris Brown case. This is not uncommon in cases with multiple witnesses involved. We have received no complaint of misconduct on the part of any officer in this matter,"  The officer in the case has not been named as of yet.

Lil Wayne Sues Quincy Without His Permission In "The Carter" Documentary

Lil Wayne has filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III who was a producer behind the documentary about the YMCMB rapper, called  The Carter. Weezy F Baby is suing Quincy for using his songs in the film, without his permission. The film makes use of a bunch of Wayne's hits, like "Lollipop," "Stuntin' Like My Daddy," "Pussy Monster," "Let the Beat Build," "La La,""Mr. Carter," "A Milli," and "Dontgetit." All the songs(*aside from "Stuntin' Like My Daddy") appeared on Li Wayne's Tha Carter III album Although he originally agreed to appear in the film and allowed cameras to follow him around, when all was said and done he tried to block the movie from coming out, because he disliked the way he was portrayed. The case was thrown out by the judge, and the movie was released in November of 2009 As TMZ reports, Weezy claims Quincy never asked to use his music, and he is suing him for for unspecified damages and asking for an order prohibiting the producers from using his music.
