King Holiday Became Official in all 50 States Today

January 18, 1993 is the day in history that the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday became observed by all 50 states. Every third Monday in January we celebrate we celebrate Dr. Kings life and work. Even though president Reagan signed the into order in to observe Dr. Kings work as a national holiday in 1983 it took ten years for all 50 states to observe it as a holiday. REALLY.
