KANYE BEING SUED FOR 500,000 OVER SAMPLE

Kanye West is being sued for a sample that he used for a song on his mix-tape back in 2006. The song was a remix of the Girls, Girls, Girls song on Jays Blueprint album. The group The Persuaders did not approve the use of the of there song "Trying Girls Out" on Kanye's mix tape but the did approve it on Jay's album.

Robert Poindexter one of the members of the 70's R&B group Filed the the suit on March the 27th in New York. When asked about the issue Poindexter had this to say “I have offered to resolve this matter out of court with Kanye West,” Robert Poindexter said. “But in response, he has refused to even discuss any ‘out-of-court’ resolutions whatsoever. Nor has he provided any evidence that he is demanding others to cease and desist from selling the illegal version.” Hopefully the two can work this out without going to court.
